The Bright Red Hat

The glance of a female in the mirror....

At 2 she looks into the mirror and sees a princess.

At 7, she sees herself as the beautiful Cinderella or sleeping beauty.

At 20 years of age, she sees herself as, too skinny, too short, too tall, hair too curly, or too straight. But.....she goes out anyways.

At 40, she stills sees herself as too fat, too skinny, too short, too tall, hair too curly, or too straight.

But she thinks "Hey, I'm alive! OH WELL" and goes out anyhow.

At 50, she sees herself in the mirror and thinks "finally... I am me". She goes out and thinks "I'm even better".

At 60, she looks at herself and think of all the women that cannot seem to look at themselves in the mirror...

She goes out and conquers the world!

At 70 years of age, she seem herself and her worth, her wisdom, happiness and recognizes her ability. She goes out and enjoys life to the fullest.

At 80.....she does not preoccupy herself with looking in the mirror. She simply puts on her bright red hat and goes and enjoys all the fun that life has to offer.

So go out and share this message to all women: Lets put on our bright red hat on sooner!

Let us be more mindful of opening our hearts rather than our appearance.

Let us enjoy each and every moment and share those with the ones we love.

Men Never Listen

In a Chicago hospital, a gentleman had made several attempts to get into the men's restroom, but it had always been occupied.

A nurse noticed his predicament.

'Sir,' she said 'You may use the ladies' room if you promise not to touch any of the buttons on the wall.'

He did what he needed to, and as he sat there he noticed the buttons he had promised not to touch.

Each button was identified by letters: WW , WA , PP, and a red one labeled ATR.

Who would know if he touched them?

He couldn't resist. He pushed WW. Warm water was sprayed gently upon his bottom.
'What a nice feeling,' he thought. 'Mens' restrooms don't have nice things like this.'

Anticipating greater pleasure, he pushed the WA button. Warm air replaced the warm water, gently drying his underside.

When this stopped, he pushed the PP button. A large powder puff caressed his bottom adding a fragile scent of spring flowers to this unbelievable pleasure. The ladies' restroom was more than a restroom; it is a tender, loving pleasure treat.

When the powder puff completed its pleasure, he couldn't wait to push the ATR button which he knew would be supreme ecstasy.

Next thing he knew he opened his eyes. He was in a hospital bed, and a nurse was staring down at him.

'What happened?' he exclaimed. 'The last thing I remember was pushing the ATR button'

'The button ATR is an Automatic Tampon Remover. Your penis is under your pillow.'

Judging Another Person

I would often say never punish a child in the state of anger. But disciplining my child is that punishing? Let's say that I have a few friends over for dinner on Sunday evening and during the course of the evening my younger son start acting up. I try patiently discipline him, distract him....then I just lost it and punished him.

Would you think that I am an hypocrite? Hypocrite say something and do not put into action because they never believe it in the first place. The fact that I lost my temper Sunday evening does not make me an hypocrite; It make me a human being who is trying discipline my child and trying to live my believe the best I can.

It's OK To Fail

Thomas Edison was an inquisitive child at an early age. He attended school for only three months where the teacher labeled him a slow learner, quite possibly because of his early hearing problems. His mother removed him from school and decided to teach him at home. She encouraged him to read and he quickly developed a great interest in Science, especially chemistry. At the age of 10, he set up a small laboratory in the basement of the family home. At the age of 20, Edison set up a laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey where he spent his time as a full-time inventor.

Within two years, he had 40 different projects going and was applying for over 400 patents a year. In 1887, he boldly announced to the world that he would invent an inexpensive electric light that would replace the gas light. Often ridiculed, Edison tried over ten thousand different experiments before he finally demonstrated the first working light bulb on October 21, 1879.

Who could ever imagine where we might be today if Thomas Edison had not persevered after ten thousand failures? It's OK to fail. From every failure come the seed of an even greater possible success.

Robert Schuller compares this process to a high jumper approaching the bar. If he/she always clears the bar, we really don't know how high that person can jump. It's only when they trip the bar that we have a true measure of their success.

Without failure, we can never grow to our full potential, Embrace failure as a legitimate step in the right direction.

Restlessness and discontent are the first necessities of progress."

"I have more respect for the fellow with a single idea who gets there than for the fellow with a thousand ideas who does nothing."

It's Really Important That I Feel Good

After writing my first post I realized that I should monitor my thoughts and feelings. I come to understand that whatever I think about that's what I'm attracting in my life. So, as of today I shall ask, believe and receive.
All those negative things that I used to think about of myself, as of today I change to positive, those negative thoughts that would come in my head when people look at me change to positive. I often had a feeling of lacking accomplishment, motivation and procrastination. So, I would feel uncomfortable, avoiding conversation, scared of not saying the right words as of today that ends. "I'm going to talk your ears off." I am a good mother, a good person, a good girlfriend, I have a mother that loves me and I have good friends.

As of today my life should be absolutely phenomenal and it will.

Why I'm Feeling Like This

It's almost the middle of April and the mortgage due date is coming up and still wondering what i
really should do. Whit two children, no job and boyfriend that work seasonally.

I've tried going back to school many times but always incapable to finish, even though it was always my desire. We often get so bog down in living our day to day lives. Reacting to the world around us that we begin to lose sight of our true desire. Although I could always find a job that doesn't require a big standard of education, but in this bad economy times no one seem to be hiring. I've tried lots of stay at home jobs even the ones on line, but to me, there are all waste of people's time. Furthermore, I'm at the age where I should not be wasting any more time.

So blogging about my feelings has become a fascinating pastime for me.
